For more than six decades, Colonie Pop Warner has been developing young athletes, building leaders, and representing the Capital Region on the national stage. As we prepare to enter our 65th season in 2026, our program continues a proud tradition of excellence both on the mat and on the field.

Colonie Pop Warner is a nationally recognized youth sports organization proudly serving the Colonie community and surrounding Capital Region. Our program provides athletes with the opportunity to compete, grow, and develop lifelong skills through cheerleading and flag football.

Our cheer program has earned national recognition through consistent success at the highest levels of competition, including 13 Eastern Region Championships, 4 Pop Warner National Championships, 6 Globals Championships, 7 Beach Bash National Championships, and 2 Global Grand Championships.

Our continued success reflects the strength and depth of our program. In 2025 alone, four Colonie Pop Warner cheer teams advanced to the Pop Warner National Championships, representing our community among the best programs in the country.

In addition to cheerleading, Colonie Pop Warner is entering its third season of Girls Flag Football, one of the fastest-growing sports in the country and a sport set to make its Olympic debut in 2028. Our flag football program continues to create new opportunities for young athletes to compete, build confidence, and experience the excitement of football.

At Colonie Pop Warner, our mission goes far beyond competition. We are committed to developing discipline, teamwork, leadership, and character in every athlete who joins our program. Through experienced coaching, strong mentorship, and a supportive community, our athletes grow not only as competitors but as individuals.
