Colonie Pop Warner provides opportunities for children as young as age 3 to participate in our cheerleading program.  As a member on one of our teams, our cheerleaders learn much more than just the sport of cheerleading.  They learn lifelong skills such as commitment, dedication, and responsibility.  These character traits become part of each of our competitive cheerleaders as they advance through our program. 

Our coaching staff receives annual training in instruction and are all certified in safety and background checked from the head coach right down to our youth coaches for your child’s safety.  This ensures your child is taught properly, and performs skills that are specifically geared towards their age group.  We do not advance skills before previous skills are perfected at any level. 

Our fall season begins on August 1.  Our teams practice Monday-Thursday 6-8pm, outside at Roesseleville Pocket park during the month of August and continue that schedule until school begins in September.  Once classes resume, our practices move indoors to local schools three nights per week for our competitive teams and two evenings per week for our Cub and Mitey Mite levels.
